The continued success of Creative Living requires maintaining high-quality facilities and consistency in programming and support services. The cost to operate our organization is more than $1.2 million each year and contributions make up only one-third of our income. Financial and in-kind support from individuals, corporations, foundations and service organizations is vitally important and, with the changing climate in federal funding, such contributions continue to play an even greater role in helping us achieve our mission.

Your contributions have a great impact!

Creative Living provides affordable housing and support to 34 physically disabled individuals.

Because of our facility design and HUD-subsidized rental program, our residents are given the invaluable opportunity to live independently in their own apartments. The supportive sense of community we provide helps new residents acquire skills to negotiate the unique challenges facing individuals with disabilities.

The Resident Assistance Program is at the heart of our mission.

This program provides peace-of-mind and on-call assistance to our residents 24/7/365 for an affordable $200 each month. Furthermore, despite increased program costs, we have been able to keep this fee steady since 2006 thanks to successful fundraising events and financial appeals.

Creative Living benefits the entire community because we provide awareness and education for disability issues.

The nature of our residential community means Creative Living neighbors encourage and share resources in negotiating the unique challenges facing the physically disabled. In addition, many of our resident assistants are students pursuing medical degrees, so the experience provided through employment with us benefits them in their academic and career pursuits.

Creative Living, Inc. is an Accredited Charity of the BBB and a proud participant in the Charity Seal Program, which indicates that our organization meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability
